A union of the senses and the mind right from the beginning, our cultivation and pruning methods guarantee an exceptional quality of grape. The grapes are carefully selected and handpicked only when ripe. Every wine stock yields but a few bunches and they are delicately pressed, to get only the best grape must. In the year 2000 a new cellar was added to the farm, in the centre of the vineyard. It is equipped with the latest technology and an array of barriques, where our Franciacorta ages and matures. Franciacorta has enjoyed the DOCG certificate since 1995 and is the only Italian brut that benefits from a second fermentation in the bottle. A special technique, cryo-fermentation, brings out the unique aroma.
